Love, Actually

"Wild Arts’ opera evenings are of a breathtakingly high, ROH-level musical standard – a gorgeous quintet of musicians and a most cunning choice of excerpts, mischievously well acted. I’d follow them anywhere." Libby Purves

Concerts

Started one Saturday in Autumn 2000 as a single music day within the medieval whitewashed walls of Fingringhoe Church in North Essex, the Roman River Festival has grown over the last 23 years, becoming  a vibrant and diverse festival of music.

The festival brings a diverse range of musicians – internationally renowned classical players, beatboxers, choreographers, or digital artists – to intimate and unusual venues around the Essex coast. It focusses on new commissions and collaborations, and, increasingly, on work with young audiences and artists.
