opera evening tour 2022

It was a simply stunning event, absolutely perfect.  All the performers were terrific, the programme varied and interesting. Thank you so much for asking us;  we loved every minute.

Many thanks indeed for an absolutely magical evening

Last night’s concert was pure joy!

Thank you so much. You assembled a brilliant team and it was wonderful. Bravo!

That was the most wonderful show. Audience members wrote and told us they were so impressed ... better than the Met!!

It was a wonderfully beautiful evening and could not have been enjoyed more. So many compliments and such an entertaining team. Thank you all so much. Thanks from the bottoms of our hearts. We could not be happier.

Fairlight Hall is a private family home set in some 90 acres of pleasure gardens, pasture and woodland, with commanding views across farmland to the English Channel and the Rye Bay peninsula.

The mock Tudor mansion was built in the 1850s by a Sussex family of landed gentry who, in a relatively short period of time amassed an estate of some 4,000 acres.

Today Fairlight Hall plays host to a number of different events managed by the family and supported by a team of housekeepers, gardeners and estate workers.

Goodnestone Park is magnificent, with stunning gardens.

It is a vast, privately-owned estate just an hour’s journey from London.

The large, grand house was first built in 1704 and is steeped in a rich history, including frequent visits from the famous novelist Jane Austen.

The magnificent grounds have undergone many impressive changes making Goodnestone Park among the top choice of gardens to visit in Kent.

Each venue has a different plan for wet weather. Many have covered spaces already lined up as a backup.

But as a rough rule of thumb, we will perform in slightly damp conditions, and only cancel under torrential rain or storm conditions.

If this happens, we will still pay the performers. It is their livelihood and they rely on you and us to live.

We will also happily offer refunds to audience members who request it, but we would be incredibly grateful to anyone who is generous enough to let us keep their ticket money.

It is the generosity of you the unsung public which keeps the fragile performing arts world going, and we will never forget that.
